IHPA Fort Lauderdale Trade Show

On April 26-27, 2002 the first World of Hurricane Expo took place in Fort Lauderdale. It is the first and only event dedicated solely to concerns of the hurricane protection industry. Of course, Croci North America participated and we had a very nice booth (see pictures).

Now that the new, unified Florida Building Code is in effect since March 1st, 2002 and we have all the certifications necessary, (Miami Dade, SBCCI and FBC) we are in great shape to sell in large quantities. We just hired a new salesman, Karol Varga who has been in this industries over 10 years and working in USA for more than 6 years.

The 2 day show was very interesting and we had the opportunity to meet customers from all over the country. We have had two adds on the Hurricane protection magazine showing our two best products the SAR155A a 55mm slat high density with a thick aluminum which has passed most severe hurricane testing requirements and our world known SAR115 a 55mm extruded slat.

We have already gained positive results after the show and have received orders from new customers. This show will take place again in Fort Lauderdale next year in May and we are looking forward to the second edition.
